There is some thing wrong with permission settings. I don't know what it is. But I tried many ways to solve the problem. First I thought it's all about language file, may be still about it. I don't know how realy.

In my real blog, I tried something and problem has been solved. I have no idea how I did. On my test blog in the same situation. I tried the same way to correct that problem as what I did :

I select “Remove All Permission Sets” from “Manage Forums”. Then remove sforum_tr-TR.mo file from languages folder and started using forum in English. Setup all three permission packs from scratch:

“Read Only” named pack has only “Can view forum” permission.

“Standard Access” named pack has “Can view forum, Can start new topics, Can reply to topics,Can create linked topics, Can break linked topics, Can edit own posts until reply, Can report posts, Can upload images, Can use signatures, Can use images in signatures, Can upload avatars, Can use private messaging, Can subscribe” permissions.

Last one is, “Full Access” named pack has just two of permissions are “No” which “Can delete topics” and “Can edit own posts until reply”.

I set them up and save each one. Then went to “Manage Forums” section and clicked “Add Global Permission Set”. I selected seperate permission sets for guests, members and moderators. Checked all forum permissions one by one and that seems ok.

I opened another browser and went to forum as a guest but I can't see the forums. I logged in as a regular user, once again I got nothing. Went to “Manage Permission Sets” section and checked all permission sets. Still same as I did.

After all, I changed the language back to Turkish and went to “Manage Permission Sets” section for control. Now there is something strange. All Permission sets has been returned to first look. Every Permission Pack settings are “No”. But database says different as below:

Those walues are right in the database but forum says I can't read that values. It rings the bell. I think problem is the variables. As you can see above options are saved in Turkis. My opinion is, if script write those values to the database with in english (or any static named) variables that may be solve the case.

This comparsation may be explains why my real blog works accidently but my test blog is not.
