Well I'm sure I've done / not done something really stupid here, however whenever I click a link on my new forum (which is fantastic) I get re-directed to the homepage rather than inside the forum to create a topic… Can anyone shed some light on what I've done / not done?

Start with the tips in the on-line help and look at the list of plugns that are known to cause problems. See if anything there applies.

Hi Yellow Swordfish,


Thanks for your quick response. I have just disabled all plugins (other than the forum oviously) and I am still not getting any further than the front page. Would I have to disable the plugins and the re-create the forum areas?

OK - have you checked page slug and ID match and also updated the forum permalinks (admin > options > Toolbox tab)?

The links being created on the forum links are correct (hiver over them and you can see in the browser status bar) so you still have something there performing a redirect…
