Hi,
I’ve just installed the forum that is great. But my layout seems to be broken. Could you tell me how to get the right settings?

Thanks

I don't mind looking but the link above (and your site menu link) do not show me the forum…

I took a look and it appears that your theme also uses the jQuery library as well as some of the same elements in it's css as SPF
The author specifically cited that the theme was NOT designed to run with widgets, which is never a good sign.
I will agree that it is a beautiful free theme, but given the multiple conflicts with SPF it would be worth searching out an alternative theme. A simple Google search should give you tons of free WordPress theme library's.

I did just take a look and I can not help with this. Half of the forum 'skin' CSS has been removed; the 'framework.css file has been removed. There is not enough left to get close to styling the forum…

there is no problem using that Structure theme you referenced… it works great with SPF (check out my http://cruisetalk.org site though I customized it)… in fact, I created a SPF structure skin that is included with SPF to match the theme… not sure what you did to lose all the styles

Hi again,
thanks for your answers so far. I just reinstalled the plugin and it seems to work much better now. Probably there was an incorrect upload before…
My only problem right now is the layout of the topics. But I am sure I can adjust by the CSS-files !?
Bye
Frank

Are you by chance running the Contact Form 7 plugin? If so, that plugin does some nasty stuff (like changing \n to <br /> in other plugins) and is not compatible with SPF… Highly recommend you find a more correctly written contact form plugin (such as cforms at http://www.deliciousdays.com/cforms-plugin)
also, another thing throwing off your appearance is that Justin made all table elements have borders… you really should change that… around line 372 in the theme style.css you will see
.post tr, .post td {
border: 1px solid #333333;
}
Just change the 1px to 0px and you will be a lot happier…
