We have just installed the SPF 3.1.3 but it is giving us problems with the permalinks. Access to the overall forum works but when trying to get in the post page it shows another link ID. Updating the permalink in toolbox does also not. It says “access denied” even when logged in as admin.

We have changed the permalinks in wordpress self but this does also not work.

Hope you can help us out.

you are sure, that you have been to the spf manage options panel, the toolbox tab and clicked on update permalink?? 

It appears you have a mix of default and pretty permalinks for the forum…

The most obvious reason you'll get an 'Access Denied' mesage is if you are not logged in as the correct 'admin' as defined in the options/admin tab. Could this be the case?

I think we need to add some explanation to those 'Access Denied' messages…

too bad, we didnt have a day to include a couple of these troubling ones into the 3.1.4 release… still, best to get the security fix out asap…
