Might not be a high priority, but as far as I can see when you move a post, it has to be moved to a NEW topic.  Is there any way to be able to move the post to an existing topic?

In some forums you can merge topics, sometimes they are posted at about the same time and can be merged to consolidate the conversation.  This would be similar to that idea.

One situation that came up on my forum was a story people were writing, but the flow of the story was being interrupted by posts like “I can't think of anything right now”, so a new topic was created to discuss 'details' of the story.  The mod wanted to move the unrelated detail posts from the story topic into the details topic, but couldn't do that.

Again, it's probably not a high priority issue.
