Dear Yellow Swordfish.

I found your plugin in this recent post and, between all of the solutions mentioned, i found your plugin the best solution for my webpage.

http://www.bloggingtips.com/2008/04/03/integrate-forum-wordpress-blog/

I activated your plug in in my WP 2.6 but in Settings there is not INSTALL button to press and so the link “GO TO MY FORUM” (which link here: http://www.partireper.it/blog/forum/) doesn't actually show any forum.

I tried to create the page forum which SPF links to, adding a random [forum] or {forum} in the HTML post box, but, as you can still see, it doesn't show any forum.

How is the Install forum page edited?

I hope I can recreate it myself.

Regards.

The best answer I can really give is follow the 'First Install' instructions in the read me file that came with the plugin package. 'Actvate' and then 'Install'.

Thanks.

Is there any reason why on my database, SPF didn't actually build any tables?

How can I make it build them or force him to do so?

Regards.

Have you actually installed it? How far have you got through the 'First Install' instructions?

Describe the steps you have taken.

Well. In the first installation (to try you plug in) i have

uploaded plugin in plugin folder

activated it

installed it

everything worked fine

I THEN TRIED SOME OTHER BRIDGE SO I DELETED YOUR PLUGIN AND CLEARED THE TABLES ON MY DATABASE

once after i decided to have SPF as my FORUM I

uploaded again

activated it

BUT NO INSTALL BUTTON COMES OUT

and from here it starts from where I mentioned in te first post

You deleted the tables but you DIDN'T clear the option records. It thinks it is still installed.

Go to Admin > Manage Options > Toolbox tab and check the 'Uninstall' box. Deactivate. Reactivate. Install.
