Hi folks,

i'd like to know if someone has installed a plugin like “fresh page” (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/fresh-page/). Is it possible to enable users to post new articles via a “fresh page” template that is linked to an corresponding S:PF thread?

The users of my blog should be enabled to post articles via a simple form and without the need to login to the backend. But I also want to create articles that are links to S:PF threads. Perhaps this question should be answered by the “fresh page” community but maybe you know a solution: Is it possible to define hidden fields in “fresh page” to create a thread in the also selected forum?

It could be also possible with S:PF options, if the S:PF backend offers an option, to link really every article to a S:PF thread per default. Does S:PF offers an option to pre-select the checkbox “link to forum” and the forum within the new article page within the backend (that could be used by the “fresh page” plugin)?

Thanks for your advice.

Regards,

blum

My bad!

I actually use the template plugin “TDO mini forms”, not “fresh page”. Sorry about that. You can find TDO mini forms @ http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tdo-mini-forms/.

This cannot be currently done in an automated fashion with SPF…  I can add a feature request to auto create a blog link on EVERY new WP post for a future update, but currently, you are going to need to make modifications to the tdo plugin…

when it posts content, it will need to call/simulate our blog link function sf_publish_blog_link()…  it wont be as simple as calling that routine, but that one and a couple of other routines right by that one in  in the sf-public.php file should give you/them some idea..
