I keep getting confussed users who aren't familair with wordpress and want to use the forum but don't know how to register - is there a way to add a registration option like the login option?
If it's not available as an option right now, can someone help me out with what code to put where to have a register link somewhere easily found on the forum page? Thanks

SO you do not see a 'registration' link beside the 'login' link at the top bar?
Is your site open to new registrations?
is the 'show logon/logout/registration' option checked in the forum options (users tab)?

ahh…forget it - turns out i had disabled user registration on this one site after alll! boy do I feel stupid

I'm having the same problem, login and registration buttons not showing. I enabled the user registration option in Wordpress, but still no luck. I also tried all of the templates, switching the text option on and off, but still nothing. Any ideas what might be wrong?

Ok, I finally see what the problem is: operator error. I found the “users” tab in the administration panel and now have the login and register icons showing by clicking the checkboxes. Indeed, they are appearing. Now all I have to do is make them a little more prominent like the ones you have on this forum.
