Strange behaviour with languages

Hello:

Following your advices I used poedit to translate Simple:Forum to basque language. Well, I have really   done the 15% just enough to test how it works.

However, I've found a problem: At the begining eu_EU language is set without any problem, but as soon as I try to read a topic, language is set again to es_ES (the default language) and it appears like that inside the language selector I use (the widget of WP 2.6).

Do you know what the problem is?

Thanks in advance

I'm afraid not. I have no knowledge of a 'widget language selector'.

The forum language system works the same as other plugins depending upon the setting in your wp-config.php file and the appropriate .mo file being located in the forum languages folder. I am not aware of any other emthod of doing this…

I mentioned the 'widget language selector' just because I can see inside it the status of the selected language.

I wonder if the problem is in the plugin because  language changes as soon as I click the topic.

Any way, I didn't complete the translation and I left a lot of lines in blank. Could be this the reason?

well it can obviously only display the translation for text strings that have been translated. Everything else will be displayed in the default language so I can't answer that question because I do not know what you have and have not yet translated.
