I did try to upgrade with the for changed files.

First of all there is mistake in the read me file:

sf-page.php :
sf-forumcomponents.php :

    /simple-forum/forum/sf-page.php
    /simple-forum/forum/sf-topiccomponents.php

Which file is the right one - sf-forumcomponents.php or sf-topiccomponents.php ?
In the zip is provided sf-forumcomponents.php

I did uploaded the files and the forum gave me message that it is closed due to upgrading process.
I switched off the plugin and then turned it on again without any success - the forum remains closed until uploading the old files.

EDIT: Some of you may wonder why the text is colored?

That is the fu…ng “good” Firefox” not handlind the spell checker.
That's why I use IE7 which is much, much, much better

yes, the instructions were incorrect (fixed yet?)…  been discussed here several times…

both files in the 'forum' subdirectory should replace existing files…

sf-page.php and sf-forumcomponents.php

IE7 better than FF???…  got a good laugh on that one Wink definitely not for me…  especially as a website developer…  MS hasnt seen a standard they like yet…   got my fingers crossed on IE8,  but if history is any indication…

Sorry, I didn't know that there will be upgrade button and I must reload the admin panel.

I wouldn't argue about IE7 and FF.
All the tons of plugins and extensions do not make FF any better.

Let's not go off topic, eh? Wink
