My user online number seems to be set at 4. Is this a default setting or is there something I  need to do to fix/change it. :)

OOPs :( just seen what I think is the reason why I see 4 online. It is the maximum and not who is currently online, sorry. Forget my question, drrrr silly me!

In the user registration why does it say: New User Registrations are Currently Disabled. Why is this?

I think this means you haven't set wordpress (not the forum) to allow new registrations - you'll need to change that before the forum registrations will work

in the wordpress admin settings page, general tab…  as Tal says, you need to check Anyone Can Register under Membership
