Weird conflict - every second row is messed up

Hey there and thank you for a great plugin, I've been using it for quite some time now. I haven't had a problem with it at all until very recent when I changed theme for my website. I've decided what theme I wanna go with, but for some reason it conflicts with this plugin. I don't know if it's a css-thing or something else (I'm no pro web coder).

The easiest way to make you understand the error is to simply show it to you:

http://www.airbasemusic.com/?page_id=86

There you see the different styles of text on every second row. It also happens in every sub forum. Once you reach a topic that has one or more replies, you see jibberish on every second reply. My guess is that it's all related.

Anyone have any clue what the problem might be and what to do to fix it?

Thanks in advance and once again, thank you for a great plugin.

its because your wp theme has defined a .alt class…  we use one also as some folks want alternating rows displayed in diff colors or other options… the issue is on line 48 of your compressed.css file…  its giving the .alt class italics and other stuff… its likely used in your comments…

you can either remove that class from your wp theme or go into the forum skin and change our .alt class to “undo” what your wp theme is doing…  if you go the route of the latter, you should make your own skin to protect your changes in future upgrades… copy the skin directory and rename to whatever you want… then make sure the .css file in the directory has the same name as the directory.

in the upcoming v4, we have created a more unique alt class to prevent this from happening…

it doesnt appear that your comments are using the .alt class, so try removing the definition in the css file… it should fix your issue… then make sure it didnt affect the rest of your site…

Wow, that's some first class help. Removing the line from compressed.css did it!

Thank you very much!
