I know that this plugin isn't supported anymore, but I thought I'd ask to see if anyone else has seen this problem.

One of my pages with Sub-Page Links is showing the top-level page underneath itself, but only when you are viewing a lower-level page.

You can see it on the piclens plus download page.  At the top, you have a link to the main piclens plus page, and then under it in the third line, is an imposter that looks like it links to the same thing.  Except that the imposter links to http://liferain.com/downloads/57-revision/ which does not exist.  Coincidentally, the main piclens plus page is post 57.

If you go to the main page, the imposter disappears.

I guess that there is a corruption in the database, but it doesn't show up in Manage Pages.

I think you hit the nail on the head in the title. These are probably revisions (started in WP 2.6).

The main query will need to be changed to exlude them.

Revisions! LOL.  Thanks for the pointer. I hadn't had a chance yet to look at the 2.6 release notes.

Since the revision feature isn't something that I need, I'm just going to turn it off.  I found two good articles on the subject.  Here are the links in case anyone else wants to do the same:

When I deleted the existing Post Revisions, my problem went away.

there's even a better way to turn off those wasteful (unless you need them) revisions history…  plugin with options beats changing files…

I didn't know about the config constant. What a relief!
